Mountain Information Technology Consultants Est. (“Mountain AI”, Dubai, UAE) builds AI enquiry assistants and automations for businesses. This notice explains, in plain language, what we do with information in three situations: when you contact us, when we build you a free demo, and when we run a pilot or live assistant for your business. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

1. When you contact us

What: what you send us by email (info@mountainai-ae.com) or WhatsApp (+971 56 777 3366) — usually your name, company, website and message.
Why: to reply, prepare your demo or quote, and keep a record of the conversation.
How long: enquiries that do not become a project are deleted within 12 months of the last message, or sooner on request.

2. Free demo

The demo is built only from information already public on your company website (services, prices you publish, opening hours, FAQs). We do not need, and do not ask for, customer data to build it.
The demo link is private to you. Sample conversations in our public demos use fictional companies and sample data.

3. Pilot and live assistant

Your role and ours: your business decides what the assistant collects; we process that data on your behalf, only to run, monitor and improve your assistant, under a written agreement signed before go-live.
What the assistant collects: only what is needed to qualify the enquiry and hand it to your team (for example: name, requested service or vehicle, dates, preferred time, budget, delivery area). Clinic assistants collect booking details only — no medical records, and they never diagnose.
Who else processes it: WhatsApp messages pass through Meta and, where used, your WhatsApp Business Solution Provider; AI replies are generated by a large-language-model provider. The specific providers and the storage location are listed in your agreement before the pilot starts. Health-sector data is handled in line with UAE Federal Law No. 2 of 2019, which generally requires health data to be stored in the UAE, with limited exceptions.
Retention: conversation logs and lead summaries are kept for the duration of the service plus 30 days, then deleted or returned to you, unless you ask us to delete them earlier or the law requires otherwise.
Security: access is limited to the people working on your assistant; credentials are never shared in chats or stored in code.

4. Your rights

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and other applicable rules, you can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to its use. If you messaged a business that uses one of our assistants, please contact that business first; we will help them respond. Email info@mountainai-ae.com with the subject “Privacy request” and we will reply within one business day and complete the request within 30 days.
